Worldwide Produce Info

The disruption to the supply of stored root crops and other vegetables caused by the drought of last summer should start to ease as we move towards the end of July and the new season crops begin to arrive. Onions and potatoes in particular are expected to become more plentiful with prices beginning to moderate. As those who follow our social media will have seen, the exceptionally wet weather in June has made growing/harvesting conditions a challenge to say the least. The effect this may have on the long term supply of cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage is as yet unknown and we continue to monitor the situation closely.
